I was very surprised to see KAC go keymod in the first place, but now to see them roll out M-LOK kit is even more surprising. This is very interesting news, and could be very telling in regards to Keymod VS. KAC may have just won the blue ribbon.īUT.with MLOK being so much cheaper to machine the MLOK URX4 should cost less than the Keymod version. Saves weight and provides more placement options. The URX4 MLOK will likely keep the KAC IBN system nut. I'm going to guess that the Troy will clamp to a standard bbl nut with 4 set screws similar to the VTAC design.
